Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) is Canada’s leading trade and industry association and the voice of manufacturing and global business in Canada. The association directly represents more than 10,000 leading companies nationwide. More than 85 percent of CME’s members are small and medium-sized enterprises. As Canada’s leading business network, CME, through various initiatives including icosmo.ca and the establishment of the Canadian Manufacturing Coalition, touches more than 100,000 companies from coast to coast, engaged in manufacturing, global business and service-related industries. CME’s membership network accounts for an estimated 82 percent of total manufacturing production and 90 percent of Canada’s exports.  


 Centennial College   


Centennial College is Ontario’s first community college, established in 1966 in Toronto, Canada. The College has four campuses with international partnerships and affiliates in countries such as China and India among many others. Le CCNB – Campus de Bathurst fait partie du réseau du Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, qui répond aux besoins de formation technique, technologique et professionnelle dans chaque région de la province et ce, dans les deux langues officielles. Au sein de ce réseau, le CCNB – Campus de Bathurst se spécialise dans les domaines suivants : Administration et Commerce, Chimie et Environnement, Électronique, Industriel et Métaux, Mécanique motorisée et Technologie de l’information.  Le site Web du Campus présente de plus amples détails sur chacune de ces spécialisations. Fondé en 1963, le CCNB – Campus de Bathurst a reçu son appellation actuelle en 1975, lorsque la province du Nouveau-Brunswick en fit l’achat. Notons également que le réseau actuel du CCNB représente un organisme de service spécial (OSS) qui opère de façon autonome, en vertu des cadres établis par le gouvernement provincial. Il est régi par la Loi sur l’enseignement et la formation destinés aux adultes.

L’institution dispose de deux centres de formation situés à l’intérieur des limites de la ville de Bathurst. Il offre actuellement 28 programmes de formation à temps plein, auxquels s’ajoute un éventail considérable de programmes à temps partiel et de formations à contrat, dispensés selon les besoin des industries, des entreprises et des institutions publiques et parapubliques. Le CCNB – Campus de Bathurst représente un maillon important de la chaîne de développement socio-économique de la grande région Restigouche-Chaleur. Puisqu’il s’agit du plus gros campus francophone du réseau CCNB, il contribue également de façon significative au maintien d’une image de marque pour la province du Nouveau-Brunswick autant à l’intérieur du Canada atlantique qu’à l’échelle nationale ainsi qu’à l’étranger.


Concordia University John Molson School of Business

John Molson School of Business of Concordia University will launch a new program of study in collaboration with Institut Franco- Québécois des Hautes Études en Management et Innovation (IFQ) with the aim of preparing students for CITP.  The proposed program will consist of classes for two terms and a six month internship in a classroom setting. An additional internship of six months may be necessary for students who do not meet the CITP requirement of one year work experience in the field of international trade. Graduate students will be expected to attain a minimum of B- in their courses and an overall GPA of 3.0. 


Conestoga College

The School of Business and Hospitality at Conestoga College ITAL offers a choice of programs to fit most areas of business today. The programs are comprised of one-year certificates, two and three-year diplomas, as well as post-graduate certificates and degree completion opportunities. Many of these programs can be completed on a part-time basis during the day or evening as well as full-time during the day. Hanlon Centre for International Business Studies

The Hanlon Centre for International Business Studies serves the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards School of Business by… “Enhancing the Student International Business Experience”! It works to internationalize our school’s Bachelor of Commerce degree studies (along with offering a unique “Associate of International Business Studies” recognition program in conjunction to a student’s chosen study major), and to provide students a wealth of value-added services and programs related to the world market as a theme. IBS Global Consulting Inc.

 

The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) is a specialized agency of the Inter-American System, and its purposes are to encourage and support the efforts of its Member States to achieve agricultural development and well-being for rural populations. With more than six decades of institutional life, the Institute is responding to new mandates issued by the Heads of State and Government of the Americas, the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the ministers of agriculture of the Americas, to reposition itself so that it can meet both the new challenges facing agriculture and the requests for support it receives from its member countries. The Directorate for Strategic Partnerships works out of the IICA Office in Washington, DC.


International Trade Center UTSA

The International Trade Center UTSA is one of the leading trade assistance centers in Texas and the United States. Established in 1992, the ITC is part of the Small Business Development Center network, focusing on helping small- and medium-sized companies grow through international trade. The Center provides trade consulting, market research and training to client companies for free, and has a proven track record of helping hundreds of Texas companies enter new markets, create more efficient supply chains, and become globally competitive. The scope of ITC activity is global, but it has a strong focus on the Canadian and Mexican markets and seeks to learn from practitioners in each country. The ITC is involved in establishing Small Business Development Centers in Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean under U.S. Agency for International Development contracts and has established a trade platform linking small business development centers across this region.

 Memorial University

Memorial University is the largest university in the region of Atlantic Canada, with 17,500 students engaged in full and part-time studies at under-graduate and graduate levels. Mohawk College

Mohawk College is a provincially funded, post-secondary institution regulated by the Ministry of Trade, Colleges and Universities (MTCU). Mohawk College currently has campuses in Hamilton, Brantford and Stoney Creek.

The International Business Management program (IBM), is a one year, post-graduate certificate program in the School of Business. The IBM program screens applicants according to OCAS (Ontario College Application System) criteria and standards.  The IBM program also actively recruits graduates of two and three year business programs. We have also had considerable success with International recruitment.

The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation’s International Trade Branch assists Ontario suppliers of exportable goods, services and technologies to develop targeted export strategies for international markets. The Branch’s team of knowledgeable export consultants provides the following core programs and services: one-on-one export consultation and guidance, First Steps in Exporting seminars, New Exporters to Border States (NEBS) missions and workshops, export market and sector-specific seminars and workshops, market information, virtual trade missions, international trade missions and trade shows, capital project and IFI advocacy support along with in-market support in Mexico, Brazil, Chile and UAE.


Ronderos & CardenasR&C is a consulting firm established in 2006 to support Colombian and foreign companies doing business with Colombia and the Latin American region, in international trade, foreign investment and new opportunities. Its partners have served in both public and private sector and bring many years of experience on how to do business in Colombia and the neighboring countries.

R&C represent a number of international companies and entities developing new business ventures in the region. The long list of customers includes the National Pork Producer Council of the United States, the World Trade Center Association based in New York, the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), of Canada, Hyundai Motors Colombia and public entities.

Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership is a non-profit, membership-driven, government/industry partnership designed to promote the growth of Saskatchewan’s export industry. STEP assists provincial businesses realize global marketing opportunities through specially tailored services and programs. STEP pursues growth in existing foreign markets and opens doors to new ones.  Members include both businesses that are experienced and those that are new to international trade. The team of professionals has the experience, knowledge and international contacts to help companies meet their international marketing objectives.

Sprott-Shaw

Sprott-Shaw Degree College is recognized as an innovative institution committed to teaching excellence and the provision of quality assured programs of higher education that prepare graduates to work in selected sectors of the global labour market. University of Calgary Continuing Education

University of Calgary, Continuing Education welcomes more than 20,000 registrants to some 1,200 courses annually—all of which are designed with part-time learners in mind. A diverse array of courses and seminars are delivered at the main campus, online and at the downtown campus. Many courses can be credited towards certificate or professional designation programs.

Academic upgrading is available for students seeking admission of University of Calgary faculties. Customized training for groups—from public, corporate or non-profit organizations—is also available. Continuing Education offers degree credit through the Minor in Workplace Learning program and French Language Instruction.  



Walmart Canada

Winnipeg Technical College

Winnipeg Technical College (WTC) opened in 1985 and has provided education for employment for over 27 years. The dual mandate of the college is to deliver secondary courses and certificates that meet the career-readiness standards and technical training needs of industry, for both secondary and post-secondary students. WTC offers recognized certificates in 23 different fields of study and boasts 88% employability of its graduates. The college has one of the largest English Language Centers in Winnipeg, a Corporate Learning Centre and an International Department, and provides oversight to numerous Adult Learning Centres. The college is committed to ensuring student success through a student-centric learning community that supports customized learning, and applied learning opportunities that are made possible through partnerships with business, industry, government and academia.  


 WTCA

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is a not-for-profit, non-political association dedicated to the establishment and effective operation of World Trade Centers as instruments for trade expansion. The WTCA now represents 309 members in 88 countries. They are all involved in the development or operation of World Trade Centers or in providing related services. These World Trade Centers service more than 750, 000 international trading corporations.


World Trade Centre Edmmonton

World Trade Centre Edmonton (WTCE) is the international division of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and a member of the World Trade Centers Association, a global network of over 320 trade centers in major cities around the world. We are a one-stop service centre connecting business members and partners with global opportunities in trade, travel and investment. Partners and members have preferred access to World Trade Centre Edmonton facilities. WTCE, with its 20 Northern Chamber partners, promotes northern relations and international trade.
