Quresh Nakhoda, CITP

Quresh Nakhoda works for Suncor Energy at Fort McMurray the world’s first oil sands facility, as a Logistics Coordinator supporting the mine equipment maintenance division. He is responsible for ensuring that planned maintenance purchases are available as per schedule; suppliers provide delivery as per requirements and supporting all other departments with local and international emergency purchases. Prior to Suncor Energy, Quresh worked for the Northern Transportation Company Limited (NTCL) as a Purchasing Agent which is one of Canada’s largest barging company and oldest Arctic marine operator. Quresh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Missouri Western State College, Certificate in Purchasing from the Purchase Management Association of Canada (PMAC), Graduate Certificate in Project Management from University of Alberta and completed the FITT skills Program on-line in August 2007.


Mike Nasser, CITP

Mr. Nasser provides a wide range of General Management, Quality Management Systems, and International Trade expertise developed through a series of increasing responsibility positions in the financial, business and consulting sectors. During ten years with the Business Development Bank, Mike pioneered the Community Business Initiative (business training and consulting) program in the Greater Toronto area. Mike also played a pivotal role in introducing, developing and managing Quality Management System program (ISO 9000, ISO 14000 & HACCP); the program made the BDC the leader in Quality Management Consulting in North America. Mike launched several International Trade Consulting and Training initiatives. Mike brings extensive experience in International Trade Financing as the former head of the International Trade Department of Al Ahli Bank, a major Kuwaiti Bank. He also brings broad expertise from the private sector, by founding and managing Arab Business Mercantile (ABM). ABM was a major player in International Trade, Transport, and Construction in South East Asia, and the Middle East. Mike undertook several consulting assignments with major European, and South East Asian multinationals.


Martha Nelson, CITP

Ms. Nelson is the principal of the Nelson Consulting Group, specialists in marketing and communications for global business. As one of Canada´s first CITPs, Ms. Nelson´s background includes eight years in the international water industry as Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communications with Trojan Technologies Inc., an environmental company providing advanced water treatment in over 52 countries. Fluent in Spanish and with over 15 years experience in Spanish-speaking markets, Ms. Nelson has also provided international marketing expertise to Petro-Canada and to the telecommunications firms of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. (MTS) and Stentor International. She has a Masters degree in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School at Carleton University and a Diploma from the Panamerican Centre for Geographic Studies in Quito, Ecuador. She has served on FITT´s Certification and Accreditation Committee and assumed the role of Chair of FITT in June 2006.


Chung Kang (Wilson) Ng, CITP

I have over 30 years practical experience in international trade services operations with banks in Hong Kong and Canada. I am the manager in charge of Scotiabank Vancouver International Trade Services Unit that handles Import Letters of Credit, Export Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Letter of Guarantee and Documentary Collection transactions for all customers in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
