Miriam Wall, CITP

Miriam Wall was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. She gained her under-graduate degree at Trinity College, Dublin and a post-graduate degree from Edinburgh University, Scotland. She has lived and worked in various countries of Europe and Central and North America. For several years she served as the National Trade Coordinator for Aboriginal Business Canada, assisting Aboriginal-owned firms succeed in global markets. Latin America and Europe were the foci of activity. In 2001 she and her family moved to Trinidad and Tobago, where she worked for the Canadian High Commission (trade section) and PMSL, a leading management-consulting firm in the southern Caribbean. On returning to Canada, Ms. Wall joined the faculty of the International Business Program at Confederation College and assumed the position of Program Coordinator in 2004.


David H. Wallace, CITP

D.H. Wallace is an International Trade Consultant and International Trade Educator with many years experience in East Asia. He speaks English, Japanese, as well as some French, Korean and Mandarin. His career has included work in Canada and in Asia. Mr. Wallace has a B.A. (UBC - Asian Studies), Transportation Management Business Certificate (B.C.I.T.), and attended Graduate School, University of Tokyo and Simon Fraser University. He is a Past President of the Vancouver Mokuyokai Society, (Trade, Education and Cultural Relations between Canada and Japan) and is also a past Vice President of the Canada - Japan Society of B.C. and currently a Director. He was a candidate for Coquitlam Municipal Council in the November 2005 election and is currently a member of the Coquitlam Business and Economic Development committee.


Jinduo Wang, CITP

Mr. Jinduo Wang is the Commercial Manager with LOI Thermprocess GbmH, a German based company. He is responsible for market promotion and monitoring contract execution. Prior to this position, he was working as a Logistics Manager with Vingo International Inc., an international trade firm, and was responsible for inventory control, warehouse and office management. Before coming to Canada, he worked for over 12 years for the China International Iron and Steel Investment Corporation as a state certified international trade professional. He participated in many deals to purchase technology and equipment for Chinese local steel makers from global suppliers and projects financed by foreign investors and international financing institutions, such as the Asian Development Bank. Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing, China) as well as his CITP from FITT.


Lucy Wang, CITP

Title:  Trade and Logistics Coordinator
Education: Associate Science Degree, BA, CITP
Other Memberships: International Golden Key Honours Society member

Ms.Wang has worked in the Animal Feed Commodities industry for over a decade shipping restricted and controlled rendered products across the globe. Currently, she works with West Coast Reduction, which renders inedible animal by-products from the meat, poultry and fish processing industries. Their products are protein meals, fats, and oils used for the world’s feed, oleo-chemical, and soap industries. Their fish, poultry, feather, blood, meat, bone meals, and feed fats are essential high-energy ingredients for the global feed industry. Her duties include managing Letters of Credit, Foreign Currency Hedging, Product Registration, logistics of bulk tanker vessels and tanker trucks, dry bulk trucks/containers, compliance of documentation. In addition to this, she has participated in registering rendered products throughout South East Asia and works towards creating greater market access for rendered animal by-products.

Ms Wang has recently completed a BA in Liberal Arts and Business Studies from Simon Fraser University while working full time.


Angela Wasylynka, CITP

Ms. Wasylynka is the Specialist for International Finance & Logistics with Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP). For over four years, Angela has worked with Saskatchewan exporters to assist them in finding sources of financing and logistics services as well as identifying and pursuing development projects with the IFI´s.

Angela is also the finance specialist for Nextrade Finance, a division of STEP, that offers short term financing solutions for Saskatchewan exporters. She spent four years as the Regional Representative for the Canadian Commercial Corporation in Saskatchewan and in September 2006 Angela became the Private Sector Liaison Officer of the World Bank and Inter-American Development and is their representative in Saskatchewan.

Before joining STEP in 2002, Angela received her graduate of the Bachelor of Administration degree program at the University of Regina with work experience from the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and the International Trade Centre. Angela received her CITP designation in May, 2005.


Sean Watts, CITP

Mr. Watts has over 30 years experience in the banking industry. As Vice-President of Global Transaction Banking, Trade Finance and Financial Institutions with Scotiabank, he demonstrates his strong leadership skills and commitment to international trade. His solid knowledge of overseas markets combined with his national and international experience is valued by colleagues and customers alike. Throughout his career he has remained dedicated to creating market opportunities with a competitive advantage for Canadian SMEs. He received his CITP in May 2005.


Amanuel Woldemichael, CITP

Mr. Woldemichael is a Settlement Officer at TD Securities, Global Capital Market. He worked with RBC Global Services as Rec officer and with RBC Tax Operations as a Review Analyst. He worked as Quality Inspector with Magna Int. - Deco Automotive, a global automotive parts supplier. He also practiced Census and National Survey with Statistics Canada. He had worked as a Shipping Analyst for Government of Eritrea, Foreign Finance Office in Rome. Mr. Woldemichael holds a Master´s degree in Industrial Economics from Europe and successfully completed the FITTskills program at Ryerson Polytechnic University, Toronto and obtained his CITP designation in August 2000. He has also completed a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and CNC Programming diploma program. He speaks English, Tigrina, Amaharic and Slovak. Mr. Woldemichael is actively seeking international trade business opportunities.
