Mr. Yang has years of international business experiences in sourcing, publishing and procurement. He was a co-founder of Sinocan Publication, a successful international publishing company. He has bachelor degrees in computer science and traditional Chinese medicine. Currently he is a MBA candidate specializing in global business management (will finish in 2012). As a Chinese immigrant, he is familiar with the political and economic situation and trade regulation of China. He has a lot of business contacts in China in different fields. He speaks Mandarin and English. He became a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) in 2011.
Ms. Youden is an Export Services Coordinator for the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs. She took her FITTskills courses at the College of the North Atlantic, and she received her CITP on January 22, 2008.
The regional offices of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada, Trade Commissioner Service provide a range of international business development programs and services to small and medium-sized, export-ready companies. Some of the services offered include one-on-one export help and market entry support, information on international markets, pathfinding for export programs and services, recruitment of participants for trade fairs and missions abroad, recommendations for trade-related conferences and seminars, and trade publications produced by Team Canada Inc and others.
Prior to her current position as Executive Assistant, Cathy was the coordinator of the department’s Program for Export Market Development (PEMD) for Alberta, NWT and Nunavut. Cathy completed the FITTskills program on-line and at MacEwan College in Edmonton, and received her CITP designation in September, 2004.
Tony Yu, B.Comm., C.M.A., CITP, is a Large Case Auditor of CCRA, responsible for auditing large corporations in Edmonton.
