 Professional exam?

If you have achieved seven or eight educational credits through accredited courses or portfolio assessments, you will be required to successfully complete the Professional Examination**, a closed-book, 3-hour exam involving a case study and essay format questions. There is no mark assigned for the exam, simply a pass or fail grade. Once you have successfully completed the Professional Exam, you will receive your FITT Diploma, and will have completed the educational requirements for the CITP*.

If you have achieved six or less credits through PLAR, you will need to locate a FITT educational partner near you to complete the remaining courses in the FITTskills program. Please note that students with seven transferred courses, who have successfully completed the professional exam, must still complete their eighth FITTskills course in order to achieve their FITT Diploma.

**Professional Exam Exemptions
Any student who successfully completes two FITTskills assessments (exam or project), or more, will be exempt from writing the Professional Exam.
