Subject Matter Expert Accelerated Accreditation
The Subject Matter Expert Accelerated Accreditation (SME AA) path to the CITP* designation targets individuals that teach the FITTskills (or equivalent) courses. FITTskills instructors can use their in-class teaching hours towards achieving FITTskills credits. In order to qualify under the SME AA Path, the applicant must provide a background on their work and academic experience, a letter of support from their employer, and copies of classroom material. To apply for credits, instructors are required to meet the following requirements:
Apply for Credits
- Have taught a FITTskills or accredited course twice in the past four (4) years;
- Submit evidence of your experience:
- official course outlines for each credit requested
- supporting documentation (lesson plans, etc);
- Obtain and submit a letter of recommendation/support from your Program Coordinator/Dean;
- Include a comprehensive cover letter and resume.
